Dallas Healthcare Consultants is recruiting a Physical Therapist Assistant for a pediatric home health provider serving Cameron County. A full caseload is ready with patients located throughout the territory from La Feria to Brownsville.
Compensation and Position Details
1099 contract option: $12.50 per unit.
Salaried employment option available; compensation discussed during the interview process.
Biweekly direct deposit.
Online documentation through Healthtrust.
Pediatric visits in patients homes throughout the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
Provide treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Implement interventions established in each patients plan of care.
Help children improve mobility strength balance coordination and everyday function.
Educate caregivers on prescribed home activities and safe techniques.
Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Complete accurate timely documentation using Healthtrust.
Coordinate visits with families and manage the assigned travel schedule.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Active Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license.
Ability to travel between patient homes throughout the assigned territory.
Strong communication organization and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively with children caregivers and the supervising Physical Therapist.
Pediatric or home health experience preferred.
