Key responsibilities: Review and process life insurance applications for completeness and accuracy, coordinating with agents and underwriters as needed Maintain communication with carriers and vendors, advocating for clients and negotiating offers to secure the best underwriting class Utilize data management systems to document case activity and ensure accurate reporting throughout the application process Required qualifications: Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of five years of experience in Brokerage New Business, General Agency, or Life Insurance company Familiarity with medical and financial underwriting terminology is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with experience in web-based agency management systems Industry designations such as NAILBA Case Management certification, FLMI, or CLU are advantageous
